🏃Flow of the race
A day before the race, we went to pick up our race-kit at Siam Paragon (5th Floor). I also went there to pick up my race-kit even though I was not gonna run the marathon.
The event venue was very large! There were many booths: selling running gears and clothes. The place we recieved our race-kit was the different area from the booth area.
Anyways, the atomosphere of the event venue made us feel excited to the race. I really wanted to run the race~😂
This is the race-kit, by the way!↓
👀Atmosphere of the race
The race day!
My husband headed out to the Rajamangala National Studium, which was the starting point. He had arrived there around 1:30am. It was 28℃. We expected it can be cooler outside because it's in dry season, but it was not that cooler, actually.
Half marathon started at 2:30am while full marathon started at the same time.
About halfway through the half marathon, you can see Victory Monument.
You keep running... then... you run around Golden Mount.
Finally, you run around Democracy Monument, then goal at the city hall.
Indeed, my husband ran this course and he told me that the course had many overpasses, where runners experience ups and downs. As for the temparature, he said that it was hot but wind helped a lot.
💬FYI...
There were many photographers! My husband got many nice pictures! (Download available after the race.)
🏅After the race
After goaled, he recieved a finisher T-shirts and a medal! Congrats, my husband!
Some meals seemed to be provided, but he did not get any since he was too tired. I kinda remember that he brought back some wafers.....not sure though...
He left his baggage at the starting point, but he recieved his baggage at the goal point after the race! The starting point was different from the goal point, so he was worried about where he can pick up his baggage. NO PROBLEM!
How's Amazing Thailand Marathon Bangkok 2023🚩?
