💭Where is Saraburi? Cavalry?
This Cross Country event was held in Saraburi, which is categolized in the central part of Thailand, and near Ayutthaya. It takes around 2-hours drive from Bangkok to Saraburi.
By the way, as the name of this event "Cavalry" suggests, we run around its "military base" there, that we actually didn't know right before we arrived at the starting area. lol
💰Perticipation Fee
■6.5km:472 THB
■10.5km【Cross Country: 20%】:672 THB
■21.1km【Cross Counrty: 70%】:872 THB
We had applied for the event at the end of April, which was about 2-months before the race date.
*Until March 17th (3-months before the race date), all categolies were able to get 73 THB off for the Early Bird promotion.
Since I just wanted to try and feel what Cross Counrty is like, I decided to join 10.5km.
My husband, on the other hand, were more interested in Cross Country course, so applied for 21.1km.
💬FYI: Shipping fee for race-kit
72 THB*2 adults=144 THB
It was our first time to visit Saraburi, so really wanted to go sightseeing before the race date and go enjoy the race-kit collection, but we already had a schedule right before the race date, so we chose to recieve our race-kit by mail.
💬FYI: During the application process...
-You can buy the event's original cap/keychain.
-You can apply for the shuttle bus service from Bangkok area (Round-trip):NOT free of charge.

Not only this, but we had also recieved our BIB about 3-weeks before the race date by mail!
🏃Race Day: Flow of the race
I woke up around 2:00am. Got prepared and headed out to Saraburi around 3:15am by car.
It took us around 1-hour and a half to 2-hours to get the event place.
Once we stepped into the starting area, it looked literally "BASE"! There were organizers and staffs wearing camo. It was very first time experience for me to feel this kind of military base atmosphere, which was really interesting!
Anyway! We finally arrived at the starting point and area!↓
(I'm not sure what the name of the place should be translated in since it's very in Thai language... But it seems some place owned by government....!)
At the starting area, we were able to have water, electrolyte drink, and some fruits (slices of watermelon and banana) for free! I saw some coffee stand, too! (I guess it seemed not for free, FYI!)
We went to check our small luggage....
And enjoyed warming-up by organizers....
Then, waited for the starting time!!! Each runners can take their prefferd point to start.
👀Atmosphere of the race
21.1km had started at 5:45am! Sure, I saw my husband off.
Then, I went back to bathroom really quick.... and....
Well, I had to wait for a line in front of bathroom, so I was a bit worrrying about my starting time... BUT! I am very glad to have a chance to view this beautiful sunrising.
Anyways! I was able to arrive at the starting line on time~~~
Okay. Here is my reflection of the course during 10.5km.
All in all, I was able to feel a bit about what "Cross Country" is like, even though 10.5km includes only 20% of "Cross Country" road.
First off, I had faced very gravel road like this↓
With.....
This amazing nature scenery~!
I love this atomsphere! Since the starting time was not very early morning, it was quite possible to enjoy this beautiful scenery during running!
After that, kept running on this...↓
Red clay road! It seems very "Cross Country", doesn't it?
At the last 3km, we were welcomed by...?↓
TANKS!! Well organized and overwhelming!! Almost all runners had stopped to take photos of/with them!
After "the tank road", 1km left until the goal!
FYI, as always, there were photographers a lot to take nice photos of our running! (You can buy & download it later!)
As a result, I was able to goal around 1:20! Great practice for me to run in 7:00/km range!
Here is just one tip💡I found during this race:
Better to wear sunglasses/cap because of the sun coming out!🌞
🏅After goaled
I'd recieved a finisher's medal, while my husband had recieved both a finisher's medal and T-shirts.
As always... we had enjoyed free meals and drinks...↓
We had been taking a little rest, then headed back to Bangkok!
✅Wrap up!
